AWS EMEA and Cost Management AWS Billing and Cost Management is the service that you use to pay your AWS bill, monitor your usage, and budget your costs. AWS offers you several payment methods to pay your charges. The default payment method is credit card but you can also choose Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or SEPA direct debit payment. Please note, that SEPA direct debit method involves several eligibility requirements. Most major credit and debit cards. If your account address is in India or Europe, you can use Visa, MasterCard, or American Express / Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) / ACH direct debit payments (for qualifying United States customers) / SEPA direct debit payments (for qualifying European customers – SEPA direct debit payments only in EUR). AWS Invoices You receive AWS invoices monthly, between the third and the fifth day of the month, for usage charges and recurring fees. For one-time fees, such as fees for purchasing an All Upfront Reserved Instance, you are charged immediately. At any time, you can view estimated charges for the current month and final charges for previous months. Regular AWS account: Is a stand- alone account and receives invoices for costs generated only from this single account. Payer AWS account: Acts as consolidated payer for all belonging linked accounts. AWS Organizations is an account management service that enables you to consolidate multiple AWS accounts into an organization that you create and manage centrally. Recommended: consolidated Billing Linked AWS account: Sub-account, which receives no individual invoices, but costs are listed as part of the consolidated payer account invoice. Viewing Your Monthly Charges At the end of a billing cycle or at the time you choose to incur a one-time fee, AWS charges you and issues your invoice as a PDF file. You can download the PDF from the Account Activity page in the Billing and Cost Management console using the following steps. Note: IAM users need explicit permission to see some of the pages in the Billing and Cost Management console. For more information, see Controlling Access. (1) Sign in and open the Billing and Cost Management console at https://console.aws.amazon.com/billing/home#/. (2) In the navigation pane, choose Bills. (3) For Date, choose a month. The Summary section displays a summary and details of your charges for that month. It is not an invoice, until the month's activity closes and AWS calculates final charges. If you use the consolidated billing feature in AWS Organizations, the Bills page lists totals for all accounts on the Consolidated Bill Details tab. Choose the Bill Details by Account tab to see the activity for each account in the organization. For more information about consolidated billing, see Consolidated Billing for Organizations. Downloading a copy of your charges as a PDF document (1) On the Bills page, select a month from the Date list for which all activity is closed. (2) On the Summary tab, choose Usage Charges and Recurring Fees. (3) Choose the Invoice link. Downloading a monthly report This feature needs to be activated on the Billing Preferences page through a subscription in the Legacy Billing Reports section of the Payer AWS account. Then, you can freely click on the Download CSV button, and choose the appropriate option.
