Arriving in Dubai Dubai International Airport is the main airport of the Emirate of Dubai which is the largest city in the United Arab Emirates. The Airport is situated in the district of Al Garhoud which lies around 4km or 2.5 miles Southeast of Dubai city centre. Dubai Airport consists of three terminals and has a total capacity of 80 million passengers annually. Terminal 3 is the second largest building in the world by floor space and the largest airport terminal in the world. Upon arrival to Dubai airport, you will find information related to Dubai Visa requirements and what facilities are available for passengers arriving at the airport. Local Dubai taxis are available 24 hours a day and the taxi ranks can be found directly outside each of the Terminal building arrival areas. The taxis are provided by the government owned Dubai Taxi agency. Uber services are also available at the airport, just download the Uber app to find your arranged taxi upon arrival. There are 15 major car hire companies based at Dubai International Airport where you will be able to find many different vehicles available for rental. Further information can be found here Airport car hire. Dubai Metro is also available upon arrival to Dubai Airport. Check the hours of service, timetables and interactive maps for more information. To get to the city centre, it takes approximately 30 minutes by taxi or one hour and 30 minutes by bus. It is advised to take a taxi to get to the office in Dubai Media / Internet City. The closest metro stop to the office is Internet City.
