Getting around Toulouse Travelling around the city of Toulouse is relatively straightforward thanks to the diverse array of options available to you. Whether on foot, by bike or aboard the metro, the many pedestrianised streets, green zones and cycling trails make it easy to get around. For detailed, real-time information about all public transportation services visit By Metro: There are two main metro lines that run through the city of Toulouse. Many metro stations offer travellers large car parks, and parking is free with a valid transport ticket. Line A: Balma-Gramont > Basso-Cambo / Line B: Borderouge > Ramonville. By Tram: There are two main tram lines that run through the city of Toulouse. Line T1: Palais de Justice > Aérosconstellation / Line T2: Palais de Justice > Airport. The City Centre Shuttle: The town centre shuttle is electric, free and will take you to the heart of the historic city. The shuttle operates between 9 am and 7 pm, Monday to Saturday. You can alight the shuttle by waving down the driver. The Airport Shuttle: The shuttle provides a link between the airport at Toulouse-Blagnac and the station at Matabiau (train, metro, local bus, coach) departing every 20 minutes, every day. The shuttle also serves the Pierre Baudis Convention Centre (Compans-Caffarelli stop), the centre of Toulouse and the Jean Jaurès metro station (lines A and B). This shuttle has its own specific fares. By Bus: More than 80 bus routes are at your service. View the network maps here: en/network-maps By Bike: VélÔtoulouse is the self-service bike scheme for the city of Toulouse. More than 280 stations are at your service. They can be found more or less every 300 metres throughout the city centre.
